About me

Web Development captivates me because it is where creativity meets functionality and convenience. The World Wide Web became a single point of connection for people all around the world, including presenting anything, whether that's a small café, or a hobby shop, or something bigger like a big tech company — literally anything. And so, every project — be it a product landing page, portfolio site, or online store — is an opportunity to solve real problems through thoughtful design and clean code.

What drives me most is the attention to detail required to combine the right tools, technologies, and UX principles. I am passionate about creating digital solutions that truly serve people's needs while pushing the boundaries of what is possible on the Web.

The other core interest of mine is calisthenics? Just like programming, it portrays my persistence, my strive for continuous development and life-long learning, as there is always space to become better.

But enough about me, let's see
what I am actually capable of!

What I build: my (actual) projects

Rocaille shop — Modern E-commerce Website

Yup, that’s my very own project — a fully responsive e-commerce platform showcasing handcrafted beaded jewelry and keychains. This project demonstrates modern web development practices like accessibilty with a focus on user experience and visual appeal. If you want to see the whole picture, just click any of the images and you will be redirected to the shop.

Note: the project is still under ongoing development.

In this project I also used Github Copilot to figure out some CSS and styling - it turns out it’s not that bad at all!

It features yet simple, but clean and pretty UI, focusing on what’s important - bringing value to the potential customer, and grabbing their attention respectively with strategic call-to-action placement ("Discover Now" buttons). Other UX features include:

Other UX features include:

  • Mobile-first responsive design ensuring cross-device compatibility
  • Fast loading times with optimised image delivery
  • Clean product photography integration

...and well, Why?

Since I am pursuing a major in Software Development, I see web design and development as my way of changing the world for the better. Websites are everywhere — on our home devices, at work, powering everything from online shops to healthcare systems. Even a small inconsistency in accessibility, usability, or code quality can lead to serious consequences — frustrated users, broken systems, or barriers for people who rely on them. That’s what I aim to combat: building websites that are reliable, accessible, and designed for everyone.

The Ubiquity of Web Impact

Websites are everywhere — on our home devices where families manage their daily lives, at work where teams collaborate across continents, powering everything from small local businesses to global e-commerce platforms, from telemedicine systems that save lives to educational portals that democratize learning. Every click, every form submission, every user interaction ripples through real people's lives in tangible ways.

The Hidden Cost of Poor Development

Even a small inconsistency in accessibility, usability, or code quality can lead to serious consequences that extend far beyond technical metrics. A poorly designed checkout process doesn't just lose sales — it can prevent a small business owner from feeding their family. An inaccessible government website doesn't just fail compliance standards — it denies citizens their fundamental rights. A slow-loading healthcare portal doesn't just hurt performance scores — it can delay critical medical care. These aren't hypothetical scenarios; they're daily realities affecting millions of users who depend on these systems.

My Development Philosophy

That's what I aim to combat: building websites that are reliable, accessible, and designed for everyone. I believe that inclusive design isn't just a nice-to-have feature — it's a moral imperative. When I write code, I'm not just solving technical problems; I'm building bridges that connect people to opportunities, services, and each other. Every semantic HTML element, every carefully crafted CSS rule, every accessibility consideration is a step toward a more equitable digital world.

In the end, quality web development creates a positive cascade: businesses grow, users feel empowered, communities become more connected, and society becomes more inclusive. This is why I approach each project — whether it's a simple landing page or a complex e-commerce platform — with the understanding that good code can genuinely improve lives, one user experience at a time.
